A very large handwoven French harvest basket sourced in the Corrèze region, with classic buttock form and beautifully fine weaving. Baskets of this type were used for field gathering and agricultural carrying, shaped to sit comfortably against the body during work. Their sculptural silhouette now makes them especially desirable as decorative rural objects.
The generous size makes it ideal for logs, linens, magazines, dried flowers, or simply as a statement floor basket in a country interior.
