A stunning set of 8 Antique floral Aesthetic Movement dinner plates in cornflower blue and white c1890. Featuring classic floral designs in blue transferware, this set is beautifully kept and ready to keep serving. With designs which differ between each of the 8 plates in the set, this lovely set evokes classic vintage cottage style featuring a sweet formal border design with floral sprays and a tied bouquet of blooms in a classic palette of light blue and white.

23cm diameter
Made by Societe Ceramique, Maastricht, Holland in the late 19th century, and in excellent antique condition with no cracks or chips. Light signs of use, including scratches, a few small glaze scrapes, some minor glaze discoloration at the outer rims. Generally lovely crisp white colour, most pieces have very minimal crazing (one plate showing slightly more crazing than the others). All plates are in lovely condition, beautiful on display and suitable for use.
The excellent condition, rare palette and classic floral pattern would also make this a beautiful gift for a special occasion, or wedding china.
Gorgeous on display, or featuring on the table at your next dinner party, this is a stunning set to use and enjoy !
