A gorgeous set of 6 French antique ironstone ('terre de fer') soup plates in blue and white transferware in a coastal / nautical theme. In a rare antique pattern, 'Marines' by renowned faiencerie Salins, France c 1900-1920. Every plate has a different pattern with its own composition to enjoy, the set unified by the geometric details and gorgeous rope and knot pattern around the border. From the Aesthetic Movement period with typically asymmetrical floral and seascape vignettes - with stars to guide you and sails to get you there, these are superb pieces for a coastal theme, whether on display, or for a special tablescape!
Priced and sold as a SET of 6 plates all in excellent antique condition.

CONDITION - the set includes 6 pieces in very good - excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks, and virtually no discoloration, in superb condition for display or use.
