An stunning SET of 6 gorgeous French antique dinner plates in forest green transferware from TF (Theodore Fenal) Badonviller, France c1890-1900. An elegant French country design featuring swans, vases, florals and garlands in a classic colorway of green glaze on a white paste ground,

This classic design would have been the height of fashion when the Empire Revival style was the dominant style in French salons. The back stamp gives the pattern name 'Primerose' with the style of this design clearly places it in the late 19th century, before the emergence of Art Nouveau at the start of the 20th century.
Generously sized and suitable for modern dining.

CONDITION - In 'very good' to 'excellent' antique condition with a light patina of age. At an age of over 120 years, some pieces may show light crazing, scratches, etc and some examples have a few very tiny 'fleabite' glaze losses to their rim. You may also see small manufacturing faults including a glaze smears and small inclusions under the glaze, as to be expected with the looser manufacturing standards of the time. Please see photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions. Every piece still displays beautifully, and all are in good usable condition.
