A lovely set of 4 mid-century, French twisted jadeite vintage cups and saucers, in lovely mint green milk glass, green jadite / opaline with fluted twisted glass on both the cups & saucers.
These French Jadeite tea or coffee cups are in a dainty standard French tasse size in a classic mid-century mint green monochrome colourway. The cups with matching saucers are marked Made in France and were made c late 1940s - early 1960s. Lovely, and still usable vintage cups and saucers, in very good condition.

Robust handles and a classic understated design. A lovely colorway with the delicate mint green which displays the depth and translucence that lends a richness to the surface of good opaline wares. With this gorgeous soft colour and the romantic fluting details, this set shows late Art Deco influences and would be right at home in a cottage-style kitchen or with any vintage decor.
This set is in excellent vintage condition, no chips, cracks, crazing or discoloration. You may see some very tiny flea bites from surface, scratches as they have been in use over the years. Overall, very light signs of wear and use, with nothing to detract from appearance on display or continued usability.
