Set 3 English Staffordshire ironstone entree / breakfast plates, ribbons and garlands green transferware Laurier pattern Ridgway, c1880-1910

A lovely set of 3 green and white transferware antique entree / breakfast / dessert plates or small dinner plates in lovely antique condition. A classic design featuring scalloped edges with exquisite molded details and an elegant forest green and white transferware pattern of laurel wreaths. Stamped on the back with Ridgways, England Royal semi porcelain 'Laurier' and the famous 'Bow and Quiver' mark dating the plates between 1880 and 1920. Ideal plates for entrees, desserts, or other serving uses, these are also delightful display pieces.

The condition is very good to excellent antique condition throughout. No chips, cracks or significant scratches, light signs of use and wear. Some age-appropriate crazing, spots and smears of the transferware pattern, as usual for the more 'hand-made' processes of the time. In truly fabulous condition for age, and ready to be put to use!
