a sweet PAIR of vintage Villeroy and Boch egg cups (possibly from the "Artemis" service) made c1960 in black and white earthenware with a lovely border frieze of birds on branches. In excellent fully usable condition.

Both pieces in excellent vintage condition, with no chips or cracks. Signs of wear and use, including scrapes and several visible scratches on the saucer rims. Colour is ivory white with no discoloration. Still in great condition for display and use.
Stamped for Villeroy & Boch's Mettlach mark for the Saar factory with a mark in use after 1955.
With so much to explore in this highly detailed, intricate design, this is a wonderful vintage set from a great maker to use and enjoy for years to come!
