A gorgeous pair of French antique footed sauce dishes in blue transferware earthenware (ironstone) with stylised, floral designs of garlands and wreaths. French made by renowned faiencerie St Amand c1900-1920

These beautiful pieces of French serving ware are made in earthenware with a white paste and antique transferware in a gorgeous rich blue and burnt orange palette.

Featuring lovely bowl shapes with a double-ended pouring design, the bold transferware pattern of Neoclassical inspired intricately rendered patterns of wreaths and garlands, are placed to enhance the form.

Each sauciere has slightly different form and dimensions

Condition is very good antique condition - no chips or cracks. Some other tiny areas of glaze losses, light scrapes, scratches and signs of use.
