A lovely set of 2 large French vintage footed coffee bowls, cafe au lait size, in beautiful stencil painted border pattern in Bordeaux red on white. A classic form in Art Deco style by an unknown maker and in lovely vintage condition, with no cracks, chips or stains.
Priced and sold as a PAIR - two identically sized bowls.
A lovely looping / trellis pattern on these bowls, along with an impressed mark under the foot, indicates a date of the early-mid 20th century for these pieces. Delightful cottage / farmhouse style with a feel of gingham to the pattern, along with a lovely footed body form, very decorative and practical to drink from.
Dimensions:
9cm high x 14.5cm diameter at the rim.
In excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or staining. Light signs of use and wear such as small scratches, and a few tiny glaze losses at the rim. Lovely on display and in suitable condition for continued use. Please see photos for condition.
