A unique and adorable Victorian period piece of teal transferware, not a strangely rimmed teacup but a miniature / doll's house sized chamber pot! This amusing and charming play object carries the French Dijon retailers stamp and is in lovely condition in spite of its years.
Unstamped fir the maker but likely made by Choisy-le-Roi France c1890.
No damage, only very light signs of use. Some pattern skips or glaze smudges as to be expected for the more artisanal manufacturing processes of the time.
Miniature sized this is an antique child's toy / doll's piece in a charming small size.

9cm rim diameter
8cm body diameter
11cm largest width (including handle)
With several adorable play scenes in transfer print it has a cream-white body with beautiful teal blue transferware images, and small handle and a wide flattened rim.
Perfect on display as part of an antique vintage transferware display, or as an accessory for a Victoirian doll collection, this is a fabulous set to add some child-like charm to your home!
