A lovely small French antique vase in white opaline milk glass with a charming vintage ruffled rim with ribbon design. Hand blown in France in the late 19th / early 20th century, this 'soliflore' (single flower) small vase, will be a sweet addition to any space. With a gorgeous ribbon and bow design and pretty all-over rib and ruffle pattern, accompanied by a scalloped neck which echoes the form of an open flower.
Shows a pontil mark on the base, signaling a hand made / blown piece, rather than a mass produced factory item. A lovely example of intricate glass work in this a very pretty vase form.
In excellent antique condition - no chips or cracks, few signs of use and wear - displays very well and remains suitable for use. Perfect size to put on a tray, for a shelf, or on the table for your next tea party!
