A stunning French Art Deco light fitting with copper shaft and stalactite icicle glass shade. This gorgeous light is a classic Art Deco piece from the renowned maker Ezan, a leading figure through the c1930s era of innovative design in France.
The frosted glass shade is in perfect vintage condition with no chips or cracks and carries the EZAN name impressed on the rim. The copper shows some signs of age - spots, tarnish and discoloration. The fittings have been dusted but not polished in order to preserve the patina of age. It is possible the copper could be returned to a brighter and more consistent finish (i.e. newer looking) by the eventual buyer, if desired.
Total length including support and shade - 42cm max height (note - this is the maximum height, it can be reduced as height as the top plate able to move along the shaft support), 23cm diameter to the copper edge of the shade.
There is no wiring at all in this one but easy to wire up through the copper tube, holes are all drilled and ready.

IMPORTANT TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The pendant height is adjustable, with the length of the copper shaft able to be reduced by adjusting the height of the ceiling plate. This light has no wiring and would definitely need to be rewired before use to the specifications of your country's electrical standards. Rewiring should be a very straightforward job for your installing electrician as there is just the straight shaft and a large exit hole for the wire - so no special extra fine wire is required. Please note that it is your responsibility to check that this light will be able to comply with the codes in your country - we recommend that you consult with your electrician before purchasing as we can make no warranty to the suitability of the fittings for your situation.
