A highly decorative antique cache pot dating to around 1900, combining richly coloured faceted blue glass with finely worked pewter metal mounts. The contrast between the luminous glass and cool-toned metalwork gives the piece a distinctly elegant Belle Époque character, while the faceted surface catches and reflects light beautifully throughout the day.
Originally intended a cache pot or table ornament, this is now a wonderfully versatile decorative object.
