Antique French Soup Plates Set of 6: Mismatched Blue Floral Transferware

A gorgeous set of 6 lovely French antique mismatched petrol blue country style soup plates, late 19th century to early 20th century dates. All in great condition to use and enjoy, this set is a lovely way to add authentic French vintage charm to your kitchen - a fabulous blue and white addition to a tablescape!

Featuring blue and white colorways in various patterns, these pieces have been made with intricate transferware patterns. These pieces work beautifully together in gorgeous tones of blue, with the diverse floral and foliate patterns with touches of Neoclassical and Louis XV design adding whimsical charm, while retaining a coherent palette - dreamy for vintage farmhouse or cottage interior style.

From various well-respected French faience makers which include, Gien (Lorris and Fontenay) St Amand (La Valliere), Sarreguemines (Carlos)

The diameter of these plates are quite generous for modern uses, ranging between 23cm to 24cm. They are all hollow plate profiles for use as soup plates, pasta or salad bowls.

Condition -
All plates are in very good to excellent antique condition - light signs of use and wear (light scratches, scuffs) and some crazing of the glazes. Colour remains clear and crisp on all plates with very little staining.
No cracks at all, glazes are in good condition and all plates remain suitable for use. Please see photos for condition and photos collage for condition. Display beautifully as well as being ready to be put to work on your table!
