An antique French two-piece carving set comprising a long carving knife and matching fork, presented in its original green-grey fitted box. The metal fittings bear silver hallmarks, while the knife retains its traditional carbon-steel blade.
The fitted presentation case survives with its original shaped interior, and both utensils retain the natural tarnish and surface changes associated with antique silver and carbon steel.
