Antique French Sarreguemines Soupiere: Green Floral Transferware, 'Mignon' c1900

A lovely French antique ironstone soupiere in a lovely floral pattern in forest green transferware on a cream ground. Stunning bamboo style handles in sculpted barbotine on a high quality earthenware base with an Empire style design of stylized flowers and foliage in a classic green and white colorway.

Made in the renowned faienceries of Sarreguemines, France c1900 this is a classic French vintage piece in a gorgeous forest green transferware, on an ivory white paste. Lovely floral transfer print in the border pattern and hand painted embellishments on the sculpted handles. Marked with U&C Sarreguemines and the 'Mignon' pattern name.

The soupiere bowl is presented in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks, no significant staining or discoloration - however the lid has lost its handle and has several chips to its rim. Therefore I have priced this piece as a bowl alone (although lid will be provided free of charge, if desired). Please see photos for condition and feel free to ask any questions.
