Antique French 10-Place Green Clover Dinner Set: Badonviller Transferware, 27 pc Service

An elegant French antique dinner service in a delightful clover pattern design in forest green and white transferware to grace your table. This classic Parisian Belle Epoque design in the Art Nouveau style is rich with symbolism with its joyous stems of lucky clover flowers and leaves, making it perfect wedding or celebration china! The set of 27 pieces includes place settings for 10 people with 10 dinner plates and 10 soup plates, plus an ensemble of serving dishes with round platters, salad bowl, soupiere and 'ravier' small dishes - everything you need for elegant dining.

This set was produced around 1900 by the renowned faiencieries of Badonviller, France during the period of T Fenal, in the 'Trefle' pattern, featuring delightful clover flowers. The stunning design features a gorgeous stylised floral and foliate motif with a repeating border pattern of stylised flowers with Art Nouveau influences, a classic style from an elegant age. Lovely color retaining a gently aged white base without significant discoloration. Ideal for celebrations (imagine your fabulous table at parties, Thanksgiving or Christmas!) or to add a bit of antique charm to your everyday.

The set includes -
10 Large flat dinner plates - 24 x H 2.5cm. All in 'very good' to 'excellent' antique condition. No chips or cracks, bright color, some crazing, a few small spots of discoloration, a few fleabites / graze scrapes to the outer rims.
10 Soup plates - D 24cm x H 4cm. All in 'very good' to 'excellent' antique condition. No chips or cracks, some crazing, bright color, a few small spots of discoloration, a few flea bites / glaze scrapes to the outer rims.
1 Large round salad bowl / deep dish - D 26cm H 11.5cm. In excellent condition.
1 Large soupiere, without lid - D 26cm H 13.5cm. Width with handles 31.5. Aside from its missing lid, the bowl is in very good condition with just one or two 'fleabites' on the rim.
1 large round deep serving dish D 28.2cm H 5.5cm. In excellent condition.
1 round deep serving dish D 26.5cm H 5.5cm. In excellent condition.
1 large round serving platter D 29cm H3cm. In excellent condition.
2 'Ravier' serving dishes L 24.5cm L 12cm H 4.5cm. In excellent condition.

Overall, this set has been carefully used and most pieces remain in very good to excellent condition despite their great age. Apart from where detailed below the plates and soup bowls are all in very good antique condition - in addition to any damage noted, all pieces may show small signs of use and wear such as minor crazing, tiny 'fleabite' glaze losses to the rim, scrapes, scratches and spots of discoloration and other small defects, all to be expected for an age over 100 years. Gorgeous on display and nothing to prevent continued use, as desired.
