A very cute French Antique "talking plate" from around 1880 from the famous faienceries of Saint Amand. A superb little cartoon plate showing a loyal spaniel brining his master his catch. With the caption "Un bon chien", which translates to 'A good dog'.

This is a great piece, fabulous for a hunting or canine enthusiast, ideal as a gift for a dog lover. In excellent antique condition with no chips, or cracks, looks to have been kept for display (you may see some very small signs of wear and use such as scratches, light crazing and small areas of discoloration). Remains lovely on display and suitable for use, as desired.
