A gorgeous set of antique soup plates / bowls, generously sized, moulded, scalloped form in monochrome duck egg blue, by the renowned German maker Villeroy and Boch Mettach marked for 1918-35
Priced and sold as a SET of 6 plates all in excellent condition.
A elegant design, transcending fashions with its classic appeal.

Height: 3.75 cm
CONDITION - the set includes 6 pieces in excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks, and no patchy discoloration, in nice condition for display or use. All plates show a few light signs of age and use, with scratches to be expected at an age of around 100 years. Very minor all over crazing; small inclusions under the glaze, as to be expected with the manufacturing standards of the time. See photos for condition.
